Writer Vs. Society

Authors that I admire the most... I'm afraid to list them out of being pretentious. But if something is considered pretentious, then it has to be pretty good.
This list includes only published authors who don't write weird stuff, like Skyrim lesbian fingering. The "Beloved Accounts" hosts links to who I consider my favorite web based fiction/fanfiction authors. Despite not being additionally documented here, I hold them in the same regard as the writers on this page.
Come to think of it, would they want to know that someone who wrote Skyrim lesbian fingering has put them on a web page dedicated to her favorite authors? I hate to dissapoint them, but I fear anyone else could do quite worse.
